♦·This is an excellent reminder of how good Traffic were live. I wasn't at this festival, but I saw Traffic
play at the California Ballroom ('the Cali') more than once and at a free concert in Hyde Park, they were
always brilliant. Somebody has commented that Dave Mason looks unhappy. My guess is that he was always troubled
by the fact there was one prodigious talent in the band -Steve Winwood was (and still is) a great singer,
organist, guitarist and song writer and Mason was inevitably overshadowed by him. Chris Wood on tenor sax &
Ric Grech on bass in this incarnation.·♦

♦·This is an excellent reminder of how good Traffic were live. I wasn't at this festival, but I saw Traffic
play at the California Ballroom ('the Cali') more than once and at a free concert in Hyde Park, they were
always brilliant. Somebody has commented that Dave Mason looks unhappy. My guess is that he was always troubled
by the fact there was one prodigious talent in the band -Steve Winwood was (and still is) a great singer,
organist, guitarist and song writer and Mason was inevitably overshadowed by him. Chris Wood on tenor sax &
Ric Grech on bass in this incarnation.·♦

Master Wood on Piano and Master Winwood on Guitar. at around the 4 minute mark when the exquisite
Guitar Solo ends, Master Winwood swaps instruments mid-track and switches to Piano while Master Wood
puts on his legendary 'Reed' and graces us with a superb Sax solo... The track, although an instrumental
